Hey!

I’m Alexa. Since I was a little girl I dreamed of being an entrepreneur. I would make crafts and set up a pretend store to force my family to buy things from me. My interest in the beauty industry started when I got a job working at the front desk of a salon while in high school. I graduated from the Aveda Institute Minneapolis in 2010 and have operated Aveda salons with my husband, Matt, since 2013.

In 2024 we designed and built our dream salon space in Bismarck, ND and it has been so wonderful to share it with our community. I love helping the stylists at our salon grow and achieve their goals. I still work full time behind the chair and I specialize in color. Aveda color is all I have ever worked with and I can’t imagine using anything else. I love that I don’t have to worry about harsh chemicals because it is plant-based. I was honored to receive Bismarck Tribune’s Best of the Best Stylist in 2024. I am a mom of three littles, a self-proclaimed interior designer, lover of all things coffee and beauty related, and a passionate leader.

I do my best to make sure every person that walks into our salon has a great experience and leaves feeling refreshed. Follow along as I navigate being a small business owner, stylist and mom.
